This striking semi-evergreen fern produces a shuttlecock ofnarrow strap-like crisped fronds with scaly brown mid-ribsthat turn dark green with age. One of our recommended plants, it's bestplanted in a sheltered, partially shady border with damp,humus-rich soil with other shade-loving woodland perennials.
