Majoram is a perfect, long flowering plant for a sunny, well-drained border. Dense groups of pink flowers, born on red-purple stems throughout the summer, and purple-flushed foliage maturing to dark green. It thrives on alkaline soil, an important consideration when planting a position recently cleared of builders' rubble.
